Food and feeding
Black-lined loaches will accept all foods but are very fond of live or frozen blood worms. They will also accept tubifex and white worms.
Origin
Northern India, Thailand, and Laos; Black-lined loaches inhabit the muddy streams and still waters.
Sexing
There are no visible differences between the sexes.
Breeding
There is not a lot of information about their breeding habits, as of yet, there are no reported cases of breeding in the aquarium.

Short description
Unlike most of the loaches, the Black line Loach is active all day long. They are a peaceful species and tend to be middle swimmers. Best kept in small groups of 5 fish or more, they do need a larger aquarium for the swimming space. Regular water changes are a must. This species is relatively new to the aquarium hobby but they are becoming more available.
