Food and feeding

Feed Goby pleco’s Spirulina, granules, bloodworms. They should also eat algae, however if there is enough food of other kind, they will likely ignore algae.

Lifespan

Up to 4-5 years if raised in right conditions.

Breeding

In order to increase the chance of successful spawning (and spawning as itself), do water changes (but not regular weekly changes - instead, change water regularly and then stop for a month, when the month without water change is over, change 2x more water than you use to normally) and feed them bloodworms. These do stimulate breeding. When the fry hatch, they will eat algae and other uneaten food from the bottom of your tank. Avoid keeping aggressive fish in the same tank along with newborns as they could become food of bigger and hungry fish.
